Are you struggling in your business? Are you tired of working harder and harder and not getting the kind of results you really want?  Do the challenges of running a business feel overwhelming?  Marketing, lead generation, sales, systems, employees and cash flow management. And the list goes on.

Here are fresh solutions to the daily business challenges you face every day.

How To Get Rich in Your Own Business . . . in 3 Years or Less

To grow your business is one thing.

To get RICH in your own business is quite another.

And to get financially free from the passive income that your business automatically generates is yet another thing.

To get to these levels you need to be employing different ideas and approaches, along with better and more unique strategies.  You can’t think like a ‘regular’ business person any longer.  This point cannot be overemphasized.

The reason the vast majority of business owners don’t even come close to tapping the opportunities hidden in their own business is because of the way they think.

So, the first step to growing your business is to work with your own mindset. Make a commitment to start thinking differently about your business starting today.

Start looking at your business in a completely new way. It’s a vehicle for getting rich.  It all starts with your mental game.

As you may know, I help business owners get rich in their own business by getting them to think in new, innovative ways about themselves and their businesses.

Here are Some Specific New Ways to Think

New Point of View
View your business as the single biggest investment in your life (not your home).

New presupposition
Start assuming that your business is going to make you rich.

New presupposition
Assume there are methods that will do it, The only question is which ones.

New presupposition
Assume there are other people who know how to do this and will help you.

New Point of View
Helping and serving MORE customers is essential. So how will you do that? List the ways your business can reach and help 10 times the number of people it is currently reaching.

New Point of View
Your business needs to change its structure. What might a business that is earning 5 or 10 times your current revenues actually look like?
How can you find out? Once you get a clear picture of it things are never the same.

New Value
More than any other single activity you do in your business, MARKETING has the power to increase your sales volume and grow your business faster than anything else.

New Value – CRUCIAL
You MUST have a growth plan. Make it a priority. It must be laid out on paper. You need to know exactly what to do differently from before. What are you going to do on a daily and weekly basis to grow your company? It’s important to remember that a Strategic Growth Plan is not the same thing as a typical Business Plan.

New Value – CRUCIAL
Leverage and scalability. There is no way to sustainably grow your business without FIRST making it scalable. What does scalable mean? It means that your business can grow without requiring you to work any harder or expend excessive additional resources like money, time, equipment or energy.

Here’s a test for scalability in your business.

Imagine that FIVE times your normal number of monthly leads come pouring in next month.  Would you have to work harder? Would you be stressed out? Would you have to scramble to handle it all?  If so, your business model is not yet ready for growth.

So first let’s set things up in your business so that you could receive five times the number of inquiries and not have to work any harder. This means installing some well-thought-out systems and methods that work hard for you when you’re not working. Once these systems are in place, THEN let’s add those amazing front end lead generation methods (and let’s automate them) that will make the phone ring and the emails pour in more than ever before.

You can get tips on building and honing your Strategic Growth Plan and increasing your scalability in my online newsletter. It also contains dozens of special insights and ideas for putting yourself and your business on an entirely new level.

Need Help Solving Some Problems?

If you want help solving some new or longstanding issues in your business, you’ve come to the right place.

One of the best tips I can give you is to step out of your business for a while and do a separate problem-solving exercise.

In other words, don’t try to solve your business issues, especially big ones, at your desk. Step out. Get to a quiet place.

Vastly Increase Your Effectiveness & Productivity

Your personal productivity and effectiveness will make a huge difference in how fast you get rich in your own business.

Make a separate project called ME.

Start working on your own productivity on a regular basis. This is not the same thing as just trying to be more productive. This is about changing and improving the patterns you are using on a daily basis to get things done.

Here are some vital points:

To be super productive, you must commit to being super productive
Here’s a real secret. Super productivity is NOT about time management.

It’s about motivation.

You must DECIDE to be extremely productive.

So how do you become super productive? Here are some of the main habits and practices.

Rise early and make sure you have a GREAT morning routine
Make it challenging. Be clear on the most important things you want to get done every single day. Start one of them FIRST, before you even open your emails. Set STOP times for activities you’re doing, and then start doing the next thing.

STOP times are extremely useful.

Be hyper-aware of how you spend your time
Be more aware of how you spend your time all day, with whom and for what. Refuse to waste your time.
Log how you’re spending your time for a while if you have to, but make sure you’re more conscious of it than ever before.

Schedule tighter blocks of high-value activities throughout your day.  When one thing ends, another one begins.

Notice time that does not produce and is not useful and systematically eliminates it.

Schedule renewal time on your calendar
Work hard and then do one of your scheduled renewal routines. You must renew yourself regularly if you’re going to work super hard. And you must take renewal more seriously. Renew yourself mentally, physically and emotionally. If you miss one of those three you didn’t “re-boot” properly so to speak.

Actively search for ways to get leverage
I define leverage as getting more and more done with less and less. I also define it as getting things done through

  • people
  • systems
  • and through technology

Write down all the areas you need more leverage in. Have a “things I would love to delegate” list and work on it regularly.
Remember, you don’t just delegate to people. You delegate to systems and technology too. In fact, one system can be worth a thousand people. I leveraged out of an entire business and became financially free with a small set of systems and a little bit of affordable technology.

Stop working on time management and instead, INSTALL super productivity in yourself. This is a GUARANTEED quantum leap strategy.

Don’t pursue initiatives and solutions one after another
Employ and pursue many strategies simultaneously.  As an example, don’t launch one new marketing strategy. Launch 3 to 7 new ones and keep ALL of them moving forward. It simply takes too long to employ resources and find solutions if you’re doing them sequentially. Remember, Simultaneously, not sequentially.

Tighten Up Your Goals
By ‘tighter’ I mean that you start with long-time 3-5 year goals, then work backward to 1-year goals.

Then to short-term 3-month goals and then create 3 targets you’ll go for this week. Make sure you have a direct link from what you’re doing today and what you’ll get done this week – directly to your short-term, medium-term and long-term goals.

Get on a Winning Streak
Make certain you hit your weekly goals every single week. It’s VITAL that you get into a winning streak and feel and know you’re making progress. Acknowledge and celebrate hitting those micro-goals.

They’re very powerful and important. Make a big deal out of them.  Don’t go home at the end of a week feeling worn out. When you go home every Friday, you should feel great because you’ve accomplished important things for the week.

Hit your 3 weekly goals every week so you feel progress and know when you’re off track. Course correct right away. That’s why weekly targets linked to everything else are so important.

Do this and you’ll have enormous clarity. And when you are this clear about who you are, what you want and where you’re going, it becomes easy to communicate your goals and vision to others.
